Police in Newton Aycliffe are appealing for information after a large quantity of diesel was stolen from a premises at Aycliffe Business Park

A LARGE quantity of diesel was stolen from Linde Castle Ltd, on Linde Way, in Aycliffe Business Park, Newton Aycliffe, on Monday, February 3. Two men entered the premises at 8.55pm and were captured on CCTV siphoning diesel. Anyone with information is asked to contact Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.

COUNCIL MEETING: Sedgefield Town Council will hold its monthly meeting at 7pm on Monday, February 10, in the council offices on Front Street. This will be followed by a meeting of the Policy and Resources Committee. Members of the public are welcome to attend both meetings.

TABLETOP SALE: A tabletop sale will take place in Newton Aycliffe town centre from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, May 10. Sites are available to stallholders priced at £5. Bring your own table. GENERAL MEETING: Sedgefield Village Veterans will hold its annual general meeting at 7pm on Monday, February 10, at Ceddesfeld Hall, in Sedgefield. The public are welcome to attend. Contact 01429-882571 for more information.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH: Sedgefield Neighbourhood Watch is holding a panel meeting at 7pm on Tuesday, February 11, in the Parish Hall at Front Street. Everyone is welcome.
