Road cleared after four vehicle collision on A66 near Darlington
POLICE have re-opened the westbound carriageway of the A66 between Stockton and Darlington after a multi-vehicle collision earlier today.
The collision happened close to the Akhbar Dynasty Indian restaurant, which lies off the A66, near Sadberge, at about 10.45am.
Diversions were in place through Long Newton, where there is traffic congestion.
A spokeswoman for Darlington Police confirmed that four vehicles were thought to be involved although no further details were available.
