A TEENAGER was left cut and bruised after he was robbed of his mobile phone.

The 13-year-old boy was walking into Pallister Park in Middlesbrough from the entrance on Ormesby Road at around 8.30pm on Friday, January 31, when he was approached by a man who punched and kicked him to the floor.

The attacker then made off with the victim’s mobile phone in the direction of North Ormesby.

Officers believe that there may be members of the public who witnessed the incident and then aided the victim.

The boy suffered cuts and bruises, but did not need hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his late teens to early 20s, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall, of average build with a local accent. He was wearing a blue Regatta jacket which had grey pockets and grey Adidas tracksuit bottoms.
