HOUSING PLANS: Darlington Borough Council’s cabinet will discuss plans to sell off eight pieces of land for future housing developments, when it meets at 5pm on Tuesday (February 4). The Borough’s population is one of the fastest growing in the region and has increased by almost eight per cent in the past ten years. The council believes these sites – including the 26-acre Muscat House Farm, on the outskirts of the town – could eventually accommodate more than 150 homes.
