CCTV image of person police would like to talk to in connection with the theft
JEANS worth almost £1,000 were stolen by a brazen shoplifter yesterday (Thursday January 30).
The high value theft saw several pairs of jeans - valued at £960 - taken from the River Island shop in Darlington.
Police appealing for witnesses have now released CCTV images of a person they would like to talk to in connection with the theft.
Anyone with information about the incident, or who can identify the shoplifter, should contact Darlington Police on non-emergency number 101 quoting reference DHM-30012014-0264.
