THE MASTER of Lennox Lodge in Richmond has held his first large-scale fundraising event as master at the Scotch Corner Holiday Inn.
Master Paul Spencer held the event to raise funds for his chosen charities of the year – although he has not made the final decisions on what they will be yet.
The event, attended by 94 guests, was held on Saturday, January 25 and entertainment was by local singer Anthony Monarch.
Mr Spencer said: “It was a Ladies Night, to say thank you to all the wives, girlfriends and partners who help and support the lodge members.
“I have not finalised my charity decisions, but I am keen for one to be a Richmond-based organisation that helps homeless mothers who may have experienced domestic abuse.”
He added that he intended to host a race night fundraising event on March 19, with the venue and details still to be arranged.
