THE people of North Yorkshire will get the chance to quiz the county’s most senior police officer next week.

Chief Constable Dave Jones is holding a live webchat on Monday, February 3, between 6pm and 7pm.

It will give people the opportunity to ask any questions about crime and anti-social behaviour in their communities.

Mr Jones also wants to discuss people's experiences with North Yorkshire Police and discuss any suggestions about how the policing service in the county can be further improved.

“My monthly webchats always provide valuable feedback from residents and helps me to understand what is important to them and how we can improve the service we offer,” he said.
