THE search for County Durham’s most beautiful woman is underway for the tenth year.

Entry for this year’s Miss Durham is now open and charismatic young women who take pride in their appearance are being encouraged to enter.

The final will take place at Sedgefield Racecourse on Saturday, April 26, and will see the finalists battle it out before a panel of judges in three rounds before the winner is selected.

The lucky winner will go on to represent County Durham in Miss England, where she could go on to secure a place in Miss World, the most famous beauty pageant on the planet, with a $100,000 prize up for grabs.

Women aged 17 to 24-years-old can enter.
