VISUAL AUDIT PCSOs who conducted a visual audit in the Park West area of Darlington on Monday January 27 reported finding tag graffiti on Carmel Road South, Glenfield Road, Hadriens Court, Oakdene Avenue and Southend Avenue, poor street lighting on Manor Road and the roundabout near Grange Road and vandalised phone boxes.

CAMCORDER CLUB Darlington Camcorder Club will meet on Thursday January 30 at Haughton Methodist Church, near Darlington. The meeting will begin at 7.30pm and will feature a talk by Alan Moon who will share his experiences making short comedy films, known as One Liners. LITTER PICK The Heighington Parish Litter Group are inviting volunteers to join their litter pick on Saturday February 8. The group meet at Heighington Village Hall at 10am and refreshments will be served there at 12pm following the pick.

CANDLELIT SERVICE To celebrate the reopening of St Andrew’s Church in Bolam, a candlelit service will be held there on Saturday February 8 from 5pm. All are welcome.
