AN elderly lady has been left stranded in her home after thieves stole her mobility ramps at the weekend.

The expensive equipment was stolen from the front garden of the Gypsy Lane address in Nunthorpe sometime between noon and 6pm on Saturday, January 25.

Anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area or who may have been offered the ramps for sale is asked to contact PC Carolann Warnock on 101. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.

FUTURE PLANS: HARTLEPOOL Council will unveil a radical new blueprint later this month to revitalise the centre of Hartlepool, spark the town’s wider regeneration and lay the foundations for its future prosperity. Businesses, landowners and residents are invited to the launch of the Hartlepool Vision which takes place at Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience on Wednesday (January 29). There will be two presentations at the launch, the first, aimed at the business community, starts at 11.45am while the event for residents commences at 1.30pm.
