A MOTHER and two children had to evacuate their home after a fire broke out.
Cleveland Fire Brigade is investigating the possibility that the blaze on Coltman Street, North Ormesby, might have been started deliberately.
The family was safely outdoors by the time firefighters arrived at the scene at about 10.25pm on Saturday, January 25. Fire engines from Middlesbrough and Marine fire stations attended the scene.
There was 20 per cent fire damage to the ground floor of the house as well as 80 per cent smoke damage. The upstairs of the house was 100 per cent damaged by smoke.
