A JACOBEAN country house plans to kick off its new season with a series of nature walks.
Richmond’s Kiplin Hall, near Scorton, is encouraging nature-lovers to come along to its Snowdrops and Spring Flowers nature trail when the hall and tearoom reopen their doors on Sunday, February 2.
The trail will feature flowers including winter snowdrops and sprouting spring bulbs, as well as yellow winter aconites which flower in the nearby woodland, gardens and grounds.
Visitors will also have access to the hall’s tearoom, playground and a pick-your-own soft fruit area in the Walled Garden.
Snowdrops and aconites are also on sale.
The nature walks will run from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from February 2 at Kiplin Hall, Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Admission prices to the gardens and grounds are £5 adults, £4 concessions, £2 children or a £12.75 for a family ticket.
