SCHOOLCHILDREN across the Durham Constabulary force area are being invited to contribute to a book about stranger danger.

The book contains safety advice for youngsters and the middle pages have been set aside for drawings by children depicting the six rhyming rules about stranger danger.

Six winning entries will go into the book and one overall winner will be awarded a computer for their school, courtesy of the Durham Agency Against Crime.

Once complete, 8,000 copies of the book will be published.
