A PENSIONER is recovering in hospital after being in collision with a car this morning (Thursday, January 16).
The incident happened at about 9.30am at the junction of Wilton Lane and De Brus Way, Guisborough, when the woman was in collision with a Saab 93.
The 74-year-old suffered a fractured pelvis and spine and was detained in James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to PC Amanda Stokes from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting event number 8091.
