POLICE are appealing for information after a car was badly damaged, possibly by someone who climbed on to the vehicle.

The silver Toyota Auris was parked in Victoria Street, off Neasham Road, in Darlington, on Thursday, January 9, when it was damaged by one or more people who appear to have climbed on top of the vehicle, damaging the bonnet, roof and windscreen.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, which took place between 9pm and 10pm, is asked to contact Darlington Police on the non-emergency 101 number.
