THE acclaimed Russian State Ballet and Orchestra of Siberia are visiting the North East to perform a triple bill of ballet favourites.
They will be at Darlington Civic Theatre from Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2 and will open their four-night run with Giselle; a tale of love, treachery and forgiveness from beyond the grave.
The following night will see the company perform Sleeping Beauty and on February 1 and 2 they will bring Swan Lake to the stage accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s haunting and unforgettable score.
Formed in 1981, the Russian State Ballet of Siberia has established itself as one of Russia’s leading ballet companies and has built an international reputation for delivering outstanding performances.
Tickets for each of their Darlington shows cost from £27 and are available from the box office.
