BUDDING actors of all abilities will have their time to shine under the spotlight this weekend at the launch of two theatre schools at Myplace youth centre in Middlesbrough.
One of the new organisations will be specifically tailored for youngsters with special needs and is thought to be the first of its kind in the area.
Free classes are being held throughout tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am to 2pm before AJ Academy of Performing Arts officially opens at Myplace on North Street, next Saturday (January 18).
Casting director Samantha Claypole will be on hand to chat to students and answer any questions.
Myplace is open to young people aged nine to 19, and up to 25 for those with special needs. All are welcome to attend the free drama workshops, street dance, musical theatre, acting for camera and performance.
The day will also feature a free prize give-away of one free term at the theatre school for two lucky winners.
For more information call AJ Academy on 07999-428171 or email contact@aj-academy.com.
