AN investigation is underway after the death of a man on a North Yorkshire farm.
Police and the Health and Safety Executive are jointly looking into the incident on a farm at Stearsby, near Terrington in the Ryedale district, earlier this week.
Police were called to the scene at about 3.55pm on Tuesday, January 7, following the sudden death of a man in his fifties following an incident involving an agricultural vehicle.
“The man suffered serious head injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the incident,” said a spokesman.
They are now trying to establish the cause of the man’s death.
