RURAL HEALTH: Richmondshire residents are being urged to have their say on the future of rural health care in the district.
There will be a public meeting on Friday, January 10 at Richmond Town Hall from 4.30pm until 6.30pm, and has been organised by William Hague MP.
Along with healthcare professionals Mr Hague will be available for questions.
UNSUNG HEROES: Time is running out for Hambleton residents to nominate their unsung heroes into a new awards scheme.
The Hambleton Community Awards have been launched to recognise exceptional contribution to the district made by residents, young and old.
The district council scheme covers everything from community group of the year to citizen of the year, but people have only until January 18 to make a nomination.
