TEAM Local Motion is re-starting its Wednesday winter walks this week.

The walks range from 20 minutes to two hours long and everybody is welcome to join them.

The first of 2014, taking place this Wednesday, January 8, will be a 1.6-mile route along the Redhall and Great Burdon loop and is suitable for the more adventurous as it has no structured paths, stiles to climb and can be muddy at times.

Meet at the green area behind Hickstead Court off Coombe Drive at 10am to take part.

The following week’s Wednesday walk on January 15 will be a 1.7-mile stroll around South Park, meeting at the main gates on Parkside at 10am.
