THE family of a missing North Yorkshire man have released a new photograph in an attempt to refresh the memory of anyone who may have seen him.

Simon Hodgson Greaves was reported missing after his camper van was found in the RSPB car park at Bempton Cliffs near Bridlington on December 21.

But despite extensive searches in the area there has been no trace of him.

His family have issued a heart-felt plea to him to make contact as they are growing increasingly concerned about his safety.

Mr Hodgson Greaves, from Riccal, near Selby, is described as white, around six feet tall, with a slim build. He has sandy coloured hair, a greying beard and moustache, blue eyes and wears spectacles.

He is known to dress smartly and often wears tweed jackets, shirts and scarves.

If you believe you have seen Mr Hodgson Greaves or know where he is now, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass information to the force control room.

The Missing People charity can be contacted on 116-000, the line is open 24 hours a day and information can be passed confidentially.

Extensive searches have been carried out by the police, volunteer search and rescue teams, the RNLI, officers from Humberside Police, the National Police Air Service, and the RAF in the area around Bempton Cliffs.
