Darlington Citizens Advice Bureau is holding a volunteer open morning on Friday, January 17.

The organisation is particularly seeking gateway assessors to help clients get the right help in the fastest time possible, and general advisors.

The open morning runs from 10am to noon at the CAB office on Horsemarket and anyone interested in attending should contact 01325-256999 ext 110 or email training@darlingtoncab.co.uk

GIVING GENEROUSLY: The All Saints and Salutation Church Bell Ringers wish to thank customers and staff at Sainsbury’s, Victoria Road, for helping them raise £906 for Darlington Samaritans over Christmas.

COFFEE MORNING: Haughton Methodist Church is holding its monthly coffee morning on Saturday (January 11).

It runs from 10am to 11am and will feature the usual stalls including cakes and bring and buy.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
