POLICE have turned to the public for help after a jogger was robbed while out on a New Year’s Eve run.

The 34-year-old was running in the Outlands Drive area of Harrogate at about 1pm on December 31 when the incident happened.

He was approached by two men who restrained him before stealing his iPhone and earphones and running off.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them with information.

Contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two and ask for Detective Constable Claire Brown or Harrogate CID.
