ICE RINK: The Christmas ice rink in Darlington’s Market Square will come to an end tomorrow (Saturday, January 4) after almost four weeks of skating. The rink will open at 10am. Entry is £5 for one hour’s skating or £4 for under-12s. A family ticket is £15.
YOUNG WRESTLERS: A junior wrestling class aimed at children aged between five and 15 is held each Saturday at The Lab, in Faverdale Industrial Estate, Darlington, between 2pm and 4pm. LIVE MUSIC: The Tees Valley Jazzmen will perform at The Davenport Hotel, on The Front, in Middleton One Row, near Darlington, tomorrow (Saturday) at 4pm.
COUNTRY WALK: The Darlington Ramblers will tackle a seven mile walk around Gunnerside, in the Yorkshire Dales, on Sunday, January 5. Walkers should meet at the former Darlington Arts Centre, in Vane Terrace, at 10.30am before the drive up to Swaledale. For details call 01325-240306.
