A MAN in his mid-40s had to be taken to hospital by air ambulance after collapsing earlier today (Sunday, December 29).
The man, believed to be from Scotland, collapsed in Stokesley, near Middlesbrough, at about 12noon.
His condition was described as critical but non-life threatening by a Great North Air Ambulance spokesman.
He was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
