Northern Grit exhibition closing in early January

A popular exhibition celebrating the North East landscape through photography and poetry closes in early January.

Northern Grit features photography by Pat Maycroft who was inspired by her upbringing in County Durham and Teesside.

Her works are accompanied by poems by Darlington writers’ group Vane Women.

Th exhibition is running at the gallery at Crown Street Central Library in Darlington until January 9 and admission is free.
