THE HALLEY sisters, a celebrated folk, country, rock and blues band, will headline Sedgefield Folk Club’s next gathering at Sedgefield Cricket Club on Station Road, Sedgefield, County Durham, at 7.45pm on Friday, January 17. DRAWING CLASS: Children’s books illustrator Helen Stephens will teach youngsters the tricks of her trade at a “mini illustrators” workshop at the Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, County Durham. The session, which takes place from10.30am to noon and from 1.30pm to 3pm on Sunday, January 26, costs £4 per child and is suitable for youngsters ages five and over.
