Mozart’s music will be brought to life at a North East theatre in the New Year.
Darlington Civic Theatre presents Magical Mozart by Candlelight on January 15 which uses exquisite settings, costumes and candlelight to evoke the classical baroque world of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Tickets cost from £17.
STAR GAZING: A monthly guide to the night sky takes place at Wynyard Planetarium on January 3.
The session, which runs from 7.30pm to 9pm is suitable for astronomers at beginners’ level through to intermediate and costs £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
Doors open at 7.15pm at the planetarium at Wynyard Woodland Park, Thorpe Thewles, Stockton-on-Tees.
