TWO cars have collided on York's outer ring road, causing delays for motorists. North Yorkshire Police said a red Ford Fiesta and a red Fiat Punto were involved in the accident, which happened at 12.15pm today (December 27) on the A1237 between the Wigginton and Haxby roundabouts. A spokeswoman said it was not believed anyone had been badly injured.
NEW NANDO’S: Restaurant chain Nando’s has been confirmed as the latest addition to a new £90 million shopping complex at Vangarde Shopping Park, Monks Cross, York. The complex will also include a new John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and Next, as well as food outlets Giraffe, Frankie & Benny’s and Prezzo. It is expected to open in April.
