A NUMBER of burglaries in the Bedale area are believed by police to be linked.
They occurred between Saturday, December 21 and Monday, December 23, at John Gills, Aiskew, a farm on Bedale Road, Aiskew, and the Wensleydale Railway Station, Leeming Bar.
The burglars broke into all three premises before stealing a cash register, money, soft drinks and food.
PC Joanne Fawcett said: “As all of the properties which were broken into, back onto the Wensleydale railway line, I strongly believe that the same people will be responsible for all three crimes.
“If you saw any unusual vehicles or anyone acting in a suspicious manner in the area, I urge you to contact the police straight away.”
Anyone with information should contact Bedale police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Joanne Fawcett, or email joanne.fawcett@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk. Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111, quoting reference number 12130221529.
