RESIDENTS are being encouraged to help Darlington Sunday People’s Market claim the title of Britain’s Favourite Market for the second year running.
The popular market fought off competition from across the country to win the accolade in February 2013 – less than a year after it first opened in August 2012.
The title is once again up for the taking and Darlington residents are being encouraged to vote for the Sunday People’s Market by visiting nabma.com/vote.
Voting closes on January 13 and the initiative is part of the National Association of British Market Authorities Market of the Year competition.
