TWO members of police staff have received commendations from a senior officer to mark their efforts in Darlington.
PCSO Craig Murray, of the North Road Policing Team, and analytical researcher Andrea Keillor met with Chief Superintendent Graham Hall, who thanked them both for their work in neighbourhood policing.
PCSO Murray was awarded a commendation for his problem solving work regarding anti-social behaviour in the St Paul’s Place area of North Road.
A police spokeswoman said: “Craig has worked hard to reduce the problems in the area, and thereby improve the quality of life for local residents. He continues to work with the community to address the local issues.”
Ms Keillor was awarded a commendation for her ongoing work as researcher, tackling crime and anti-social behaviour in Darlington.
Her commendation read: “Andrea is an integral part of the problem solving process, providing police and PCSOs with information, research and analysis to allow them to best tackle ongoing issues, and to provide a more effective use of resources in highlighted areas.”
