FAMILIES are being given a festive treat with cut-price entry into a popular museum this weekend.

The Head of Steam railway museum in Darlington has lowered its admission price to just £1 for today, (Friday, December 27) tomorrow and Sunday.

Added entertainment will be at the museum on Sunday in the form of children’s entertainer Krazy Kev and characters from Darlington Civic Theatre’s Aladdin pantomime who will meet visitors from 11.30am.

The museum will be closed for the New Year holiday on December 31 and January 1 before normal opening times and admission prices resume on January 2.
