CUDDLY toys left close to the spot where a three-year-old boy was killed in an apparent hit-and-run have been moved for safe keeping.
Hundreds of people have left tributes at the spot where Danny Wake, from Darlington, died on November 4.
As well as flowers and cards, the tributes have included dozens of teddy bears.
On Wednesday (December 19), officers from Darlington police began moving some of the cuddly toys.
They had been subject to the elements for more than six weeks and will be given some TLC before being donated to a still-to-be-decided good cause.
Efforts to trace the driver of the vehicle that hit Danny are ongoing, with witnesses asked to call police on 101.
