BOOKINGS are being taken for the next award-winning Darlington Sunday People’s Market.

The next market will be held on Sunday, January 5 from 11am to 4pm in the town’s West Row and High Row.

The monthly market, which was set up by volunteers to rejuvenate the town centre, is also hoping to be crowned Britain’s favourite for the second year running.

It was crowned nation’s favourite at the National Association of British Market Authorities Market of the Year competition earlier this year, and organisers are hoping to once again take the title.

There's nothing award winning about this market it has stalls that are rubbish why do we not get ford stalls etc it is all fast food and rubbish from china or else where in the east do trading standards ever check what is being sold here.

I think you are mixing the Monthly Sunday Market up with the regular Saturday and Monday Market..As no fast food or rubbish from china sold on the monthly Sunday Market
