A 45-YEAR-OLD woman has been beaten and robbed in the street.

The victim was on The Greenway, opposite Charlie’s Convenience Store in Middlesbrough some time between 6pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 11 when she was attacked by three youths.

She was pushed from behind, falling over and then when she was on the ground she was kicked and hit, sustaining injuries to her body and face.

The youths stole £75 and made off in an unknown direction, leaving the woman on the floor.

SLOW DOWN: Two new 20mph speed limit zones are to be introduced in Hartlepool. One will cover the entire Headland area and the other will take in Fenton Road, Lincoln Road, Ingham Grove and Wainfleet Road on the Fens Estate. Implementing the new speed limits will cost Hartlepool Borough Council approximately £1,500, with the money coming from the Government.
