PRIMARY school children crept, crawled and charmed their way to stage success in their school Christmas show.
The five to seven-year-olds at St Bede’s RC Primary in Darlington staged a production of It’s a Creepy Crawly Christmas by Craig Hawes.
About 280 parents and grandparents saw the show in two performances staged at the school on Kingsway, near Asda.
“I am absolutely bursting with pride,” said class teacher Kathleen Heskett who worked with colleague Sophie Graham on the show. “They were all fantastic and did everything perfectly.”
There has been more cause for celebration at St Bede’s as it has been confirmed that building work is to go ahead to allow more space for reception class children.
From September, 2014 the number of reception age children will rise from 30 to 45.
