ASDA Darlington has launched its Give a Gift at Christmas appeal to support local charities nominated by customers.
Earlier this year the store asked people to put forward charities supporting the themes of ‘kids’, ‘warmth’ and ‘food poverty’ and the chosen charities are the Salvation Army Darlington Toy Appeal; the Salvation Army Darlington Clothes Collection; and the food bank at King's Church.
In the run up to Christmas, customers can support the charities by depositing a token Asda’s Community Life noticeboard, or by buying an extra gift in fitting with any of the charity themes and dropping it off at the collection point at the store’s entrance.
