POLICE WARNING Darlington Police took to social networking today to warn the public to be on their guard after a spate of suspicious calls in the area. Cold calls from a company called IT Support have been reported to police after callers attempted to get computer log-in details by telling individuals their computer had a virus. The police claim the callers are known scammers and have warned the public not to give out log-in details or any personal information.

FESTIVE FILMS Festive films for all the family to enjoy will be shown in Darlington this weekend and next. A big screen set up in the town’s market square will show How the Grinch Stole Christmas at 11am, Polar Express at 2pm and Miracle on 34th Street at 5pm. All films are free and chairs will be provided.
CHRISTMAS SERVICE Grange Road Baptist Church, in Darlington, will host their Christmas Guests’ Service on Sunday December 15. The event begins at 10.30am and all are welcome. Light refreshments are available afterwards.
