TWO ambulances collided while on emergency calls in Hull Road, York, at about 2.30pm today (Tuesday, December 10). One was bringing a patient back into York to the hospital and the other was on its way to an emergency in Pattrington. Both vehicles, which were were displaying flashing lights and sirens, ended up with minor damage, but the first continued to hospital with its patient. No-one was injured in the other vehicle but two more ambulances were sent out as a precaution.
