BACON and pork joints worth about £400 have been stolen from a farm outbuilding. Police in Ryedale are appealing for information after the theft from a farm near Coulton, North Yorkshire. It happened overnight between Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6, when thieves stole bacon and pork joints sealed in shrink-wrapped plastic with green labels. CONCERT CANCELLED: A concert planned by The Dalesman Singers, which was due to take place at St Hilda’s Church in Danby Dale, North Yorkshire, on December 17 has been cancelled.
