A CREATIVE five-year-old girl scooped tickets for herself and her family to the opening night of a pantomime in a North-East theatre after winning a design competition.
Tia Khan drew a pair of colourful bloomers for panto dame Widow Twankey, who is starring in Aladdin at Darlington Civic Theatre.
Youngsters at a drama workshop were invited to design a pair of bloomers, with Tia’s winning entry made into a pair of bright undergarments.
She and older sister Faith, ten, met Widow Twanky ahead of opening night on Saturday (December 7).
The pantomime, which also stars childrens’ TV favourites the Chuckle Brothers, runs until January 13.
