A SUSPECTED partial collapse led to an emergency inspection of a sewer in Darlington.
Northumbrian Water carried out the work in Northgate, Darlington, close to the junction with Arthur Street, on Friday (December 6) afternoon.
It is feared that the sewer collapse may have affected nearby properties.
Two-way traffic movement was maintained, but motorists were warned to expect delays.
