POLICE uncovered hundreds of cannabis plants during a raid of an industrial warehouse close to a North-East airport.
Tower House, near Durham Tees Valley Airport, near Darlington, was raided on Tuesday (December 3), after officers received a tip-off from a member of the public.
Detective Sergeant Sean Jackson, of Durham Police, said officers uncovered an estimated 500 mature cannabis plants.
Male youths aged 16 and 17 were arrested and are expected to appear in court charged with drugs offences later this week.
