A FUNDRAISING concert for Children in Need has raised more than £1,200.
The concert at The Forum, Northallerton, on November 16 included performances from local school choirs and bands from Northallerton Music Centre.
Forum chairman Anne Wall said: “It was a very well attended enjoyable event showcasing some very talented youngsters, and we raised £1,206 for Children in Need.
“We are keen to hold other events like this which bring the local community together in a common purpose not only to raise money for a good cause but to enjoy entertainment.”
Groups taking part included the Intermediate and Senior Concert Bands from Northallerton Music Centre conducted by Alan Owens and Trevor Wilson; Crash Bang Wallop Youth Theatre; Applegarth Primary School Choir, led Emma Browne; and the Rhodesbros band.
