AMERICAN soul legend Candi Staton and music producer David Gest appeared at York Barbican to sing the praises of a Motown bonanza on its way to York next year. Gest, who has made York his home since first visiting and falling in love with the city four years ago, will present an all-star line-up of ten soul and Motown artists on Friday, February 21.
