Fifteen-year-old arrested in connection with incident

A SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD boy is in a critical condition in hospital after he was struck by a car last night.
Police said a 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident on Hartburn Lane in Stockton at about midnight last night.
A white car was in collision with a 16-year-old local boy.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical.
The driver of the car, a 23-year-old man, was uninjured.
Police said there was a large group of youths on Hartburn Lane at the time and are particularly keen to speak to anyone they have not yet spoken to.
Police also want to speak to members of the public who may have seen the incident.
A 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent in connection with the incident was later released opn pollice bail.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information about the incident should contact police in Stockton on the non-emergency number 101.
