A DEBUT show by a theatre company for adults with learning difficulties has been hailed a success.
Stage Darlington received a £3,000 donation from Darlington Operatic Society, which allowed it to meet fire regulations in order to stage performances.
Vampires Destiny was held at Stage Darlington’s premises, in Banks Road, on Friday (October 25). A total of 25 members took part.
Stage Darlington director Julie Cormack said the show had been so well received that it would be performed again, on November 19, at 2pm.
Students from the Education Village will be invited to attend the free performance, she added.
Also enjoying a starring role in the production on Friday were brother and sister Tyler and Grace Lowe, aged 11 and nine respectively.
Their mother, Joanne, runs a dance school, which works with Stage Darlington.
