YOUNG people from County Durham interested in learning the art of filmmaking are being invited to join a new course being supported by the British Film Institute (BFI).
Kids for Kids UK, a film company based in Crook, County Durham, will start the eight week course on Saturday, November 23.
Participants will work with industry professionals and learn about all aspects of filmmaking from production to filming, editing to the final premiere.
They will also make their own short film or documentary and will undertake a Silver Arts Award qualification.
The workshop location will be confirmed once participants have been recruited.
The course costs £25 per person but bursaries are available and Kids for Kids UK can also help with transport costs.
