Middlesbrough robbery victim taken to hospital with knife injury
A ROBBERY victim was taken to hospital after being slashed on the hand in a knife attack in the early hours of the morning.
The attack took place in Middlesbrough at about 12.15am today (Tuesday, October 8) when the victim, aged 22, and another man, aged 30 were in the area opposite Teesside Crown Court close to Mima art galelery on Albert Road.
Both were approached by two men with a knife who stole the victims' mobile phones and cash.
The knife victim sustained an injury to his hand which required ten stitches at James Cook University Hospital.
The first suspect is described as a white male, around 26, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build with stubble. He was wearing a black Nike hooded top and dark coloured bottoms.
The second suspect is described as a white male, also around 26, of chubby build and shorter in height than the first suspect. He was wearing a dark grey hooded top and black bottoms.
